New Properties for FB Remote I/O Zone 1

• Increased safety - the modules have covered front connectors instead of cable tails. Wiring can be routed directly to the Remote I/O modules without the need for marshalling. New Ex e modules are backward compatible.
• New redundancy backplanes eliminate the need for an additional redundancy enclosure. This allows you to save money and significantly reduces space requirements in the field.
• Extended intrinsic safety parameters enable connections with a wider range of external devices while maintaining compatibility with existing installations.

This development step together with our new Ethernet gateways leads us into the next generation of LB/FB Remote I/O.
